The flat iron is a cut of beef from the shoulder. A richly marbled, exceptionally tender cut of beef known for its bold, beefy flavor. Flat irons offers the tenderness of premium cuts at a value price. Perfect as a weeknight staple or for a group on the weekends, it pairs excellently with roast potatoes and vegetables or on top of a salad.

Cooking Tips:

Season with salt and pepper and grill or pan sear on medium high heat for 2-3 minutes per side. Let rest for 2-3 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain. Best served medium.
